Electrical Consumption of LED Lighting vs Traditional Lighting Source.

Energy Efficient

Research has proven that LEDs are the most energy efficient method of illumination on the market today , with an estimated energy efficiency of about 80%-90%.

This means between 80- 90% of electrical energy consumed by LEDs are converted into light.

As compared to 10% for Halogens, and a mere 5 % for incandescent.

The remainder for this energy is converted to alternate forms of energy mainly heat.

This high electrical efficiency hence means that LEDs in turn consumes less electrical power than traditional lighting, and as such drastically reduces your electricity bill! ... by up to 80%
